How parents can see Over 18

THE ARCHBISHOP’S Office for Evangelisation has purchased the screening rights to Canadian Documentary Over 18.

Lara Kirk, Manager of the Marriage, Family and Relationships office, said the Archdiocese purchased the documentary in a bid to help parents understand the nature of the online world their children are being exposed to.

“We want to equip parents to assist their children in navigating the online world safely,” she said.

“It is hoped that Catholic secondary schools throughout the Archdiocese will offer their facilities to host screenings for local parents as a service to their local communities.

“All bookings, advertising etc can be looked after centrally by the Archbishop’s Office so the school need only provide the venue.”

A trailer for the documentary can be viewed at http://over18doc.com/ .

If your school is interested in hosting a screening your executive and Parents and Friends (P&F) can be given time-limited access to a full preview of the documentary to ensure you are comfortable with the content.
