Diocesan Pastoral Council – join in the conversation
Archbishop Christopher has proposed a new Diocesan Pastoral Council (DPC) that will assist him in the core mission of the Church in this Archdiocese:
- Evangelising: spreading the good news of Jesus to all
- Service: being instruments of mercy and responding to the needs of the poor
- Promoting: human flourishing in a fulfilled creation
A DPC is an instrument of synodality – walking together, inviting all those within the Church and those on the margins to journey in this common mission.
A Report on the future DPC is now available – in summary form (Summary) or the full report (Report) – for discussion and consultation across the whole Archdiocese.
The Working Party, formed by Archbishop Christopher, is seeking your views, as parish and other communities and as individual members of the Church.
You can provide your views through your Parish Pastoral Council, the priests in your parish, or directly in this form or via email: (workingparty@cg.org.au). Please respond by 28 October 2022.
The Working Party is happy to meet with communities or parishes to assist in gathering feedback.
