2021 Blackfriars Lecture – Homer among the Health Workers: metis, culture and closing the gap, a personal reflection

The lecture is being presented by Mr Craig Ritchie, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS).  In this lecture Craig will draw on his extensive career in Aboriginal health to explore the question of policy impact in the Closing the Gap agenda. In particular, he will consider the critical role of metic knowledge and culture in policy design for greater impact in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
