Holy Rosary Catholic, Holy Cross Anglican and St Margaret’s Uniting Churches are hosting 2 events to celebrate the Season of Creation this year.
Event 1 – 21 September 2.00 – 5:30 pm – Sustainability Festival
With the theme – Active Travel – Good for you AND the planet, join in a range of activities and displays including school students artwork display; a Q & A forum involving candidates for the ACT election responding to questions from Dickson College students (from 4 pm) and many other displays demonstrating active travel as the theme of this event. At Holy Cross and St Margaret’s churches, cnr of Antill St and Phillip Ave, Hackett, ACT.
Event 2 – 22 September 9.30 am – A Celebration of Creation Service
An ecumenical celebration of worship and thanksgiving, community and prayer on caring for our shared home. Morning tea will follow the service; please bring a plate. Under the cherry tree at St Margaret’s and Holy Cross churches.
