Laudato Si 10th Anniversary Celebration

Laudato Si Week from 17th – 24th May is a global celebration where we remember Pope Francis urging us in his encyclical Laudato Si’ to hear the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor. In Laudato Si’, Pope Francis emphasised the importance of loving God, one another, and creation. This year, with the universal church, we celebrate 10 years of inspiration and action since Laudato Si’ was promulgated. The Caring for Creation movement in Canberra-Goulburn invites everyone to join us for a celebratory Mass at the Cathedral at midday on Saturday 17 May, followed by light refreshments in Hayden Hall. The Mass will also be live-streamed.
