The communities of Rosary Catholic Church, Holy Cross Anglican Church and St Margaret’s Uniting Church are collaborating to run a “North Canberra Nativity Festival” with diverse activities from Wednesday 11 December to Sunday 15 December.

Christmas has become so commercialised that the Gospel story of the Incarnation comes distant last. This Ecumenical Festival aims to put Christ back into Christmas.

A display of some 200 nativity scenes from 40 countries provides  a great catalyst  for discussions and activities about the true meaning of Christmas … moving from a focus on presents, bells, baubles and Santa to the reality of Jesus coming into the world.
