St Joseph’s students visit Canberra

Students at St Joseph’s Primary School Grenfell have visited Canberra for a day of learning. They explored the National Portrait Gallery, the National Arboretum, the National Zoo and Aquarium and dropped in to St Christopher’s Cathedral.


MacKillop presented trophy

Last week, Cancer Council ACT visited MacKillop College to present Year 12 with the new perpetual trophy for the highest fundraising school in the Relay for Life. Students raised more than $58,000, doubling their previous record set in 2019. 


Marriage course

Last week the Archdiocese launched its third Marriage Course for married couples. Thirteen couples from Cootamundra, West Wyalong, Moruya and suburban Canberra will gather virtually each week via Zoom. For more information visit: https://cgcatholic.org.au/marriagefamily/the-marriage-course/


Mother’s Day 2021

Schools across the Archdiocese celebrated Mother’s Day last week. St Bernard’s Primary School in Batemans Bay held a breakfast in the school gymnasium for all mums in their community.
