The Day when words do not matter
This is the day when words do not matter, the day when only actions, one action, counts.
Today Jesus Christ – The King who saves – whose words are spirit and life, acted decisively, once and for all time and goes to His tomb for our sake.
Today of all days we can see our true state.
We are entombed. We are barricaded in our homes, we are cut off from our beloved ones. Like the Jews in Egypt trusting in our Passover Lamb, we hope for the angel of death to pass over us.
Today our only true hope is not ourselves, our government, our suddenly useless sciences but in God.
Where it always has in fact been.
