Together: Gathering of the people of God

Please join us for Together: Gathering of the people of God, a opportunity for Canberra region Christians to gather and pray together using the prayers and music of Taizé.

Canberra Prayer service details:

Sunday 17 September at Immanuel Woden Valley Lutheran Church, Canberra ACT 37 Burnie St, Lyons ACT 2606

– 4:30pm for a cuppa, fellowship and discussion in the hall

– 5:30pm for Vigil in the church, using the songs and prayers of Taizé.

Together is an ecumenical prayer vigil in Rome at the end of September to pray for the Synod on Synodality. Preparations are being led by the Taizé community.  Similar Prayers services are being held around the world and in Australia.

We’d love you, your family, school or parish to get involved in this ecumenical event – All are welcome.
