Canberra’s Joy of the Gospel

Good Community, Good Teaching and Preaching, along with Good Music, are the hallmarks of a thriving parish

In the middle of Canberra’s winter, parishioners and parish priests gathered to listened and participate in an array of topics geared towards parish renewal.  The Joy of the Gospel, Leadership and Mission sessions provided a springboard of formation and lively discussion.

Highlights included animated and informative talks by MenALIVE founder – Robert Falzon, United Nations Physiologist, Angela McCabe, and musician Stephen Kirk.

Videos of the sessions are now ready for viewing and provide an insightful resource for all parishioners. Go to www.joyofthegospel.com.au

Fr Percy said that he hoped all attendees would take what they had learned back to their Church communities to encourage members of their parishes to also live out the ‘Joy of the Gospel’.
