Vision Splendid

We begin the Book of Apocalypse, a name meaning revelation.

Read this book in light of the vision of the Risen Christ in chapter one. It will aid understanding.

It is a vision splendid:

I saw … one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest.

His eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters (Apocalypse 1).

Can we see how the vision encourages during times of difficulty?
