Now that you are seeing with new eyes, says John, you know the Spirit of Truth, because s/he is with you and in you.

‘Because I live,’ Jesus’ words, ‘you will live; I love you and show myself to you.’

Amazing! So, can I do what Jesus asked at the Last Supper and show him to others through me?

Peter seems to think so. Treat all with respect and a clear conscience, witnessing to the Word by your good life, responding in love, even to those who are unkind, even violent. Jesus saves even the guilty. Persevere!
