Ecumenical Taizė Prayer Service

The ministers/priests officiating were from left to right – Fr Josh Scott (St Brigid’s Church Dickson), Rev Chris Lockley (St Margaret’s Uniting Church Hackett), Pastor Ken Perrin (Church of Christ Ainslie), Fr Emil Milat (St Brigid’s Church Dickson), Fr Kieran Adams OP (Holy Rosary Watson), Rev Tim Watson (Holy Cross Anglican Church Hackett).

On the evening of Sunday June 9, churches in the inner north held an Ecumenical Taizė Prayer Service.

The evening was hosted by Holy Cross Anglican Church in conjunction with Holy Rosary Church and St Margaret’s Uniting Church.

Rev Tim Watson (Holy Cross), with his wonderful voice, led the choir as cantor to the lovely Taizé  singing with the joint choirs and congregation.

The Ecumenical Taizé Prayer for Christian Unity Service was a very prayerful and moving evening.
