Divine Mercy Feast Day Devotions @ St Christopher’s Cathedral, 11 April
The feast of Divine Mercy is celebrated on the first Sunday following Easter Sunday. Our Lord Jesus Christ had revealed to Saint Faustina Kowalska that His suffering and passion on Good Friday will open up the floodgates of Divine Mercy on the feast day:
“On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are opened. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the Fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened. Let no souls fear to draw to Me”. (Jesus Christ to St Faustina, Diary 699)
All are invited to devotions at St Christopher’s Cathedral at 2pm-5pm (stay for an hour or longer).
Confession available throughout, as well as recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary and other prayers.
Holy Communion will be available at the 11am or 5:30pm Mass at the Cathedral preceding and subsequent to the Divine Mercy devotions.
