A delightfully entertaining movie with a superb cast based on the world-changing 1968 strike at the Ford Dagenham car plant. In the sixties, despite performing specialised tasks, female Ford employees were classified as unskilled labour and paid just a fraction of their male colleague’s wages … simply because they were women.

Outraged by the situation, plant worker Rita O’Grady leads her colleagues on strike for equal pay for equal work … an act that would ultimately help advance the cause of women’s rights around the world.
