For Sure

Hebrews 12 gives us a marvellous vision of the fulfilment of our journey to God.

Whilst in the Old Testament the vision of God could be not be countenanced and the sacrifices were ineffectual, here in the New Testament God’s face illuminates our very beings, precisely because of the blood of Christ:

What you have come to is Mount Zion and the city of the living God… in which everyone is a ‘first-born son.’

Everyone a child of God?

For sure.

In countries and communities where this vision reigns, social harmony and cohesion are a welcome consequence.
