Get your bi-locating pants on

Padre Pio is an extraordinary saint. He could be in two places at the same time, he had the stigmata for over fifty years, he knew sins people omitted to confess and through Jesus he healed thousands of people. He would have clearly been able to say with St Paul: “I live now not with my own life but with the life of Christ who lives in me.” Today’s challenging Gospel suits Padre Pio’s strong witness of giving up everything else to truly follow Jesus.

A dose of Padre Pio medicine for your prayer life:

“If you’re not able to pray well, don’t stop doing your duty. If there are lots of distractions, don’t be discouraged. Decide how long you will pray and don’t move till you’re done. Why worry about not being able to pray as you’d like? Prayer is a way to reach God, prayer itself is not the goal.”

Lord help us to be completely selfless, give us the grace to allow you to move in our lives.
