O Rising Sun
Ladies and Gentlemen, the 5th O Antiphon:
O Rising Sun, you are the splendour of eternal light and the sun of justice: come and enlighten those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death.
The theology and spirituality on offer is sublime.
The light of Jesus Christ is coming to us with splendour, scattering darkness, extinguishing death.
A spiritual practice is recommended in these days of O Antiphons.
Pray the O Antiphon with the family, then pray Mary’s Magnificat (Luke 1:46-55), then repeat the O Antiphon again.
Let the “Rising Sun” shine within you.
