Peace

In today’s Gospel passage, Jesus commands us not to let our hearts be troubled or afraid.

He also promises us the gift of his peace – a peace that the world cannot give.

In ‘Searching for and Maintaining Peace,’ Jacque Philippe encourages us to seek, ask for, practice, and nurture peace of heart as a necessary pre-requisite to perceiving and reflecting God’s goodness in the world.

In this Easter Season, let’s allow the Risen Christ to say to our hearts, “Peace be with you.”
