Perspective

The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a feast for his son’s wedding (Matthew 22).

Let’s look at things from the perspective of the son.

How would he feel with his Father, the King, throwing a party for this magnificent occasion?

How would he feel, since the feast is not just in honour of him, but the woman he has fallen in love with?

Is there anything better than knowing that your father loves you and celebrates you?

How does it compare with falling in love?

It doesn’t matter. The son is loved.
