Rise Up Encounters
Over the past three mornings of World Youth Day in Lisbon, our pilgrims have been attending Rise Up Encounters which have provided the opportunity for deep catechesis and powerful moments of prayer led by bishops from around the world.
They were privileged to hear from Cardinal Robert McElroy of San Diego, USA; Archbishop Frank Nubuasah SVD of Gaborone, Botswana; and Bishop Rex Alarcon of Daet, Philippines.
The staff and alumni of NET Canada helped to animate the site with such a joyful sense of faith, service and hospitality.
