The Annunciation of Our Lord

Mary said “yes,” and the salvation of the world was quietly set in motion. No trumpets, no drama, no one, except Mary herself, would have noticed anything at the time. Today, God, the creator of the universe speaks personally to each one of us, asking if we will play our small part in the redemption story. In the busyness and humdrum of our ordinary lives, we could miss the voice of God. Do we know the purpose God has given our lives? Are we seeking to follow his direction today? Our answer to God has great significance for our own lives and for the lives of others.

Lord, help us to hear your voice in our lives. Speak loud and clear beyond our spiritual deafness and give us the grace to respond with a “yes.” “Here I am Lord, I come to do your will.”

A real blessing to watch the mass online today whilst in isolation in Sydney with my 93y old Mum.
We lit tea lights and had a crucifix with its holy water font placed near the computer.
Thank you Fr James Antony for a beautiful and reverent celebration of this wonderful Feast of the Annunciation.
