Job Vacancy: Housekeeper – Clergy Retirement Foundation
The Clergy Retirement Foundation of The Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn is responsible for the provision of accommodation, care and support of our retired Catholic Priests. We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified person to provide Housekeeping services at our purpose built facility located in Garran.
What we are looking for:
Proposed working days will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, starting at 9:30 am to 2:30 pm
Preparation of a daily cooked lunch for all 4 residents.
Placing a weekly online grocery order.
General cleaning, washing of bedlinen and some personal clothing items.
Caring for the elderly Priests in a friendly environment.
Good communication skills are required and previous experience working with the elderly would be favourable.
Initially this position is for 12 months starting on 27 April 2021.
