Are you weak enough?

Moses while still on the run from a murder he committed was called to rescue his people from oppression. He understandably questions whether he was qualified to be God’s crusader for justice and freedom. God’s promise to be with him is all he needs and all we need too. God calls ordinary folk to do extraordinary things in his grace. He always has and always will. The real question we need to ask ourselves is whether we are small enough to get out of the way and allow God to enable us to answer the call on our lives. As Jesus says in the Gospel, God is revealing the kingdom to “mere children.” What is God calling us to do today?

Lord, help us to be humble enough to trust you to do amazing things with our lives.
