Dads in School Day

Kinder, years one and two students from St Francis Xavier Primary School shared a fun morning of activities with their dads, uncles, and grandfathers. A team from Forbes CatholicCare organised the day encouraging students to talk to their families about their recent learnings and the varied experiences each generation has in regards to school life.

The morning included a range of activities such as painting handprints, and CatholicCare provided a sausage sizzle for all in attendance.

Mrs Amy Golding, Kinder and Year One teacher expressed her delight with the level of involvement of the school community and thanked all for their participation. ” The smiles on the student’s faces said it all, she said.”

This was the third year CatholicCare has organised this event, with plans next year to include a student versus adult soccer game!
