Over 80 faithful join in 24 hour Adoration
Praying at 3am in the Morning?
Believe it or not, people were there. And at every other hour of the day.
Over eighty people joined in the 24 Hours of Adoration from 7am on Wednesday February 20 until 7am the following day as we prayed for all things youth: the Youth Equipping School, Catholic Education, Catechists and Vocations to the Priesthood were all a focus as the participants responded to this important need.
The Adoration drew attendance from many of the Communities within the Archdiocese.
A group of five enthusiastic Korean Catholic youth spent time in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Fr Mathew and the Syro Malabar community were heroes, covering the 10pm to 4am spot, while some youth leaders led praise and worship from 6am to 7.30am.
Why did they do this, you ask? That’s a good question.
Where this ministry has been established, many prayers have been answered, lives have been changed and there has been an increase in the fruitfulness of the Church’s Mission.
Esssentially, it works!
